Kristen’s journey into photography began back in elementary school with her dad as her guide. Since starting KRP in 2011, she’s been turning that childhood passion into capturing stunning, memorable moments for clients across the country. We can't wait to bring our fun and creativity to your special moments and make some memories together!
A few fun facts about Kristen:
She’s currently rocking a yellow belt in taekwondo, used to be a middle school English teacher (she will fight for the Oxford Comma), and has an eclectic Netflix feed bursting with British Baking and Korean horror and dating shows.
Recently, she’s been diving deep into the literary genre of Afrofuturism (Octavia Butler, Tlotlo Tsamaase, Naomi Alderman, Wole Talabi).
She’s been the Vice President of the first and only all voices LGBTQIAA+ chorus in the Capital District, Albany Voices of Pride, since spring of 2024.
And just to keep it weird and diverse, let’s just say she might know a bit too much about birds.
